This 350 MHz Enhanced 5 FT Assembled CAT5e Network Patch Cable - Purple is made with Cat5e cable, which consists of 4 unshielded twisted pairs, 24 AWG. stranded cond. and a PVC jacket. The RJ45 plugs we use are made to the Cat5e specs. and have 50 microns of gold plating per contact.

The eight gold contacts are plated with 50 microns of gold plating and provide superior conductivity.
